Idealism is Destroying Europe

The liberal world order is the system of governance that has been implemented on an international level.

This liberal world order arose from the aftermath of World War 2.

Europe was devastated, Soviet Union was grabbing Eastern European countries, and United States was the dominant military and economic power in the world.

The horrors of World War 1 followed by World War 2 made Europe do everything it could do to create an international system that could promote and provide stability to Europe.

United States was the only country that could take this leadership position and it did it.

Since the fall of the Soviet Union and America’s continued rise to dominance, the world has become far more democratic and peaceful than in the past.

America’s economic and military supremacy protects this liberal world order.

Good times create weak men..

Comfort and peace brought about a rise in idealism in Europe.

The United States, providing the liberal world order, has been protecting Europe for decades. The protection and comfort created the atmosphere to bring about an idealistic obsession within Europe.

This idealistic obsession pushed Europe to become more left leaning and liberal. It also pushed Europe to become far more progressive in its views on governance and to make up for its lack of power in other ways. Europe took for granted the protection of the United States and began to drink its own kool aid.

This kool aid has given Europe a false sense of security and a distorted strategy on protecting its people and borders.

Idealism is making the foreign policy of a state be the same as its internal political philosophy. Europe sees itself as the beacon of light amongst the evolution of proper governance and wants to impose on the world this, U.S. funded and backed, achievement.

Idealism is what happens when a state has too much time on their hands and has lost sight of future dangers.

There are far too many examples of idealism going awry in Europe, but two main ones is the refugee crisis and climate change.

Refugee Crisis:

Millions of illegal migrants entered the European Union. These migrants were from completely different cultures and majority of individuals were young males. The European Union embraced the migrant crisis and did little to stop the flow of them. They were militarily inept in slowing down the flow of migrants and Turkey’s Erdogan was able to coerce and financially blackmail Europe into paying him to stop more from coming.

EU has already given Erdogan, president of Turkey, $3 billion Euros to keep millions of refugees in Turkey and is poised to give another $3 billion Euros to keep Erdogan happy.

The great project of the European Union that was supposed to make Europe a super power has been reduced to paying off a dictator to the tune of billions of dollars in order to stop him from sending more illegal migrants into Europe.

How does a supposed “superpower” like the European Union allow itself to be played by a dictator like Erdogan?

The damage done by idealism won’t be apparent until disaster strikes. European Union moves even more towards idealism than before.

The European Union now can force its members to accept refugees from other EU states, the bloc’s top court ruled recently.

Peter Sutherland, the United Nation’s special representative for migration, even suggested member states be threatened with expulsion if they failed to agree to binding quotas.

The sovereignty of the European states that make up the European Union is under massive strain and the German Empire (European Union) is continuing to push its idealism without properly managing the cracks that are showing.

The idealism that is rampant in Europe allowed millions of illegal migrants to enter the European Union. Further it allowed billions to be spent on settlement schemes to distribute “refugees” throughout its member states.

Understandably many member states reacted negatively to being forced to take in illegal migrants. The beacon of idealism, United Nations, has it’s special representative for migration suggesting that member states be threatened with expulsion if they failed to agree to binding refugee distribution quotas.

The tensions between immigrants and natives in Europe is continuing to increase. The idealism being pushed onto the masses is making matters worse. Little attention is being put on the long term ramifications of opening borders to refugees and pushing an agenda that benefits immigrants over natives.

The infection of idealism rampant in European Union and United Nations has reached levels unprecedented. This is primarily from the large bureaucratic systems that are created which are insulated from reality.

Climate Change:

The climate change policy initiatives espoused by European Union is peak idealism. There seem to be no present pressing issues for Europe that it gives it the confidence to push ahead with their green energy agenda.

Europe with their idealistic fervor wants to prove to the world that it is so advanced that it can be the leader of green energy and push the world to safety from the supposed brink of doom we face from climate change.

Emmanuel Macron, President of France, says that France’s future energy policy will be firmly rooted in its climate obligations made in Paris at the United Nations Climate Change Conference..

“Even those who, if they do not change enough, will bear the main responsibility for adding to the economic and social debts that our children and grandchildren will have to bear, an environmental debt of a totally different kind.”

Good to note that Macron doesn’t have any kids.

France has moved forward with a law on renewable energy that aims to reduce French reliance on nuclear power to 50% from the present 75%.

Idealism has taken such a root in the psyche of European elites that somehow the most efficient and renewable source of energy, Nuclear Energy, is bad and must be replaced by more green energy like Wind and Solar.

Absolute insanity.

Due to it’s “climate change obligations” France is on pace to close 17 nuclear reactors by 2030.. Two will close under Macron’s reign, but highly doubt more will follow.

By the time 2030 comes around Climate Change doom will be laughed at.

Macron’s unrealistic goal of lowering nuclear power reliance from 75% to 50% by 2025 was postponed due to worries of energy supplies to the country. The time frame was then moved to 2030–2035. This helped to keep Macron seem like he’s a green energy promoter while pushing the energy issue to the next administration.

The idealism towards Climate Change led Macron to announce gas taxes to minimize France’s reliance on fossil fuels. As if increasing the price of gas will make people magically change their methods of transportation.

French Revolution 2.0

The increase in fuel costs prompted the yellow vest movement which has been raging in the streets of France for months. The riots led to the 6 month suspension of the fuel tax hike.

All of this has been pushed to fall in line with the Climate Change Accord and Macron’s need to be the leader of the globalist vision. The plan has backfired spectacularly and creating the stage for further riots and widespread dissatisfaction.

More could be talked about the idealism in Europe. France is one of the many countries that has taken the climate change mantle under their wing. Germany is on track to close down all of its coal power plants which account for 40% of Germany’s electricity.

Germany has pledged to close all of its nuclear power plants by 2022. This is mostly due to the nuclear power hysteria that has been pushed on the masses and the push to fulfill the plans of climate change and move towards renewable energy.

There is plenty more to discuss when it comes to climate change. From the student protests that have been happening to government continuing to impose regulations and laws to restrict existing energy companies to expand its services. All of these moves are making it more difficult on the masses to be able to function. High prices of oil, from over taxation and regulation, have led to the yellow vest movement in France and will lead to more instability over Europe as the Climate Change ideology continues to be pushed and spread amongst the idealistic government overlords.

Instead of France and Germany moving towards a nuclear energy future, they are doing all they can to move towards a future reliant on wind and solar. Meanwhile Russia continues to enjoy the charade as it prepares to keep feeding the energy needs of Europe.

The Rise of Nationalism

The rise of nationalism is a global trend that is picking up momentum as a pushback against the globalism that permeated throughout society.

Nationalism is increasing in Europe and will accelerate as European Idealism continues to reach record peaks.

Countries such as Hungary, Poland, Britain, Italy, Spain, and France are beginning to fight back against the loss of sovereignty and the addiction to idealism that stems from the European Union.

The masses do not want globalism pushed down their throats and are therefore fighting back in the best way they can.. by pushing national pride and becoming more conservative.

By the time nationalism becomes a direct threat to idealism it will be too late for the European elites to do anything about it.

Their stances on subjects such as the Refugee Crisis and Climate Change have shown the closed mindedness of the European elites and how out of touch they are with the changing world order.

Conclusion:

As the liberal world order begins to lessen its dominance on the world due to American isolationism and a rise of nationalism worldwide, the countries within the European Union will experience revolt and mass dissatisfaction.

European Union has been taking advantage of the kindness of America and has not prepared for what is to come. European Union will fragment and European countries will begin to think primarily for their own self while their domestic policies move towards the nationalist streak.

Nationalism will push countries to be against the European Union and come in direct conflict with the idealism that has been rampant.

The disintegration of the European Union will occur and conflict will rise as nationalism becomes the dominant mode of operation among eager to fight European countries.

European elites need to get over their devotion to globalism and idealism. It is destroying the European Union project and creating the atmosphere for revolt.

Europe will wish it didn’t fall under the idealistic trance. Soon they will wake up unprepared just like before.

It was fun while it lasted..
